Eagle Watching

Last weekend, some friends invited us to join them for a few days of eagle watching at Lake Guntersville. Our time there was really restful and we were able to see some of the most magnificent birds in North America. What a treat!

Although we are complete newbies as eagle watchers, we found the local experts were very friendly and willing to share lots of helpful information, including their favorite places to watch. We waited at dusk close to a pine grove with three nests and saw several adults and one juvenile come back to the nests just before sundown. Amazing!
