No, Annette and I have not been re-married. But, we were invited to attend another Czech
wedding earlier this month - the second one in our eight years here. Klárka, daughter of our dear friends Mirek and
Radka was wed to Pavlík in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. René officiated, and
during his message wove a beautiful story of how Klárka had grown up under the
watchful eye of her parents and her congregation; when Pavlík first appeared on
the scene, we were all concerned about whether he would be the right one for
our dear little sister, Klárka. In God’s providence, Pavlík turned out to be
her Prince Charming and now they are happily married. It was a privilege and a
joy to be there to witness their vows.
