Our Interns Arrive

Jinae and Kathryn arrived last weekend and began their work here with a few days in Prague.  We visited some of the popular tourist attractions, and we rested; but we also stopped at a few less well known places to give them some perspective on the culture and history of the Czech Republic.

One of our stops was at an exhibit honoring Sir Nicholas Winton, a courageous Brit who helped transport hundreds of Czech children to safety in England just prior to the beginning of the Second World War in 1939.  Most of the children were from Jewish families.
