English Camp 2016

We are in the middle of our annual English camp, and we’re so encouraged to see the Lord working in our teachers and students. On Sunday evening one of the members of the Zlin church gave a powerful testimony of God’s work in her life, telling how he saved her and her daughter by means of a tragic illness. 

We are seeing God show up in conversations with our students and even in the time we spend with the hotel staff. Please keep praying for his power to be seen and for lives to be changed.

Boy's and Girl's Discipleship Week

Last week we spent several days at a cottage in the mountains with young people from our church and a few extras from around the Zlin area. It was a very intensive time of study, prayer, and service. We also had a lot of fun! Here are some pictures from our time together. God showed up in some wonderful ways. Thank you for praying for us.

Moravian Folk Dancing

Our Czech friends are unusually musically talented. One of the young ladies in our church plays in a traditional folk music group. We traveled to a nearby city yesterday to attend one of her group’s performances. The video clip in this post is a very brief taste of the music, dancing, and costumes typical of this region. We learned yesterday that each village has its own costumes.
